Welcome!
My name is Bianca Esquivel and I have been a third grade teacher in Seminole
County for three years. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary
Education from the University of Central Florida in 2014. I am very excited to obtain
my Master’s degree of Elementary Education in May from UCF! Go Knights!
Teaching
has always been a dream of mine. I remember forcing my brothers and cousins to
play “school” with me. I would teach them how to read, give spelling tests, and
even grade papers! When adults would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up,
my response was always “A teacher!” (in my little girl voice).
Along
the way, I have always had people try to convince me that teaching wasn’t the “best”
profession. I definitely knew it wasn’t a high paying job, but I wanted to make
a difference in the world. My purpose in life is to make sure all my students
feel valued. I encourage my students each day that anything can be achieved with
hard work and a positive attitude. In our classroom, we see mistakes as opportunities
to learn and we NEVER give up!
On
this blog you will find posts relating anything to education (especially
technology). I will share ideas regarding these topics and hope to hear from
you sometime! Please feel free to leave a comment at any time J
